Disadvantages: large floor space, low stocking density, and high equipment investment.
(2) Semi-stepped type: The upper and lower layers of the cage overlap 1/4-1/2, and a certain angle of the snorkel is installed above the lower overlapping part.
Advantages: high stocking density;
Disadvantages: The ventilation effect is worse than the full step.
(3) Overlap type: The upper and lower layers of the cage are completely overlapped, and the common ones are 3-4 layers, the high ones are up to 8 layers, and the breeding density is large.
Advantages: high utilization rate of the chicken house and excellent production efficiency.
Disadvantages: The construction, ventilation equipment and dehumidification equipment of the chicken house are highly demanded, which is not convenient for observing the flock and difficult to manage.

Disadvantages: No obvious cage group and lane, difficult to manage and feed.
